So...I started back at work 2 weeks ago with one organization, and will start back in March with the second one. The house is already seeing the damage of the working hours. As I sit here writing, I'm feeling slightly guilty, because I know there is so much that needs to be done! In these first two weeks, I've already accumulated 15 hours of lieu time...15 hours beyond the 25 each week that I'm scheduled at this organization for. These hours are due to mandatory training and team meetings.
We used to have a cleaning service come in once a month, and I found it made a huge difference. I unfortunately don't have the money to include this luxury in our budget right now, but I can't explain with effectiveness how much I would like to!!
It's Family Day Weekend here, which means Monday is officially a holiday. Unfortunately, I work all weekend, including the Monday. My "weekend" this coming week is Tues/Wed.
On top of the chaos of the house with my being back at work, our finances are slightly tighter this month as well, because I go a whole month without any income. Employment Insurance has ended, and although I started back to work on Feb 5th, my first paycheque doesn't come until March 1st.
